The configuration:
I've bought 2 x 64bit Quad Xeon with 4GB RAM
Storages will be attached by FiberChannel, maybe RAID 5 or 0+1
I'm thinking of RaiserFS
Wondering to use Dual Master Replication
I'll buy RHEL 4, 64Bit
Planning to serve more than 100GByte of data
I could use a HW loadbalancer / Cisco CSM Switch
= I don't have a good view to estimate update per second, or simultinous connections. I just know this service should serve 1000+ users with average 100M at the start. All of them use it as their Web service backend.
= So what is you oppinion about the configuration above? Could anything get changed to serve better? I dunno where the buttle-neck could be!!
