It is possible. The way you can do this is to start the master server with the
--replicate-do-db option. For example: --replicate-do-db=foo

I would recommend also replicating the mysql database as well, especially if you change priviliging or add a new user.

I think you can also specify these options in the my.cnf as welll in the [mysqld] section:

[mysqld]
...
replicate-do-db=foo
replicate-do-db=mysql
