Replication - 64-bit master/32-bit slave - Windows
Hi
I am wondering if someone can clarify if the following implementation would work and if so are there any issues with it?
Planned installation:
MySQL 5.0 running replication between:
MASTER
64-bit Windows 2003 Server
SLAVE
32-bit Windows 2000 Server
Further the slave is a much lower spec than the master as is:
Master = Dual Xeon 3.2GHz with 4Gb RAM - RAID 1+0 (15000 rpm SCSIs)
Slave = Dual PIII 866MHz with 1Gb RAM - RAID 1+0 (10000rpm SCSIs)
Your comments willl be much appreciated.
