The problem was probably the different version of mysqldump (3.23.58) I used to dump the DB (running on 3.23.54).
Now the slave is running, but the replication doesn't work. It doesn't find the bin log.
Mysql.err says "Error reading packet from server: could not find the first log (server_errno=65535)".
