dual master incremental backups?
Hi
How do I backup a 30GB+ MySQL DB, on a daily basis? I have two servers, each running as a master / slave to the other one. And once a full backup has been made, I only want to backup the changes for the day, on a daily basis.
I had a look at the MySQL site, and ther was mention about the log files which needs to be cleared before each backup. If I want to run the backup via a crontab entry, on a scheduled time, how would I approach this scenario?
Then, how would I restore those backups?
I'm thinking of getting an extarnal 160GB IDE HDD, connected via USB2.0. Currently I have 2x 160GB SATA HDD's in RAID 1 configuration on each machine. Any suggestions / recommendations?
