I also thought it was SELinux blocking the connection, so I set it to permissive. That is actually how I went from not being able to parse the .ora file, to getting it to the most recent error message.
I am not using the Oracle Key Vault, as I stated previously. I am trying to use a third-party key manager. I saw in the documentation that the SafeNet Key Manager is supported in version 5.7.18, but the only available version for download is 5.7.17. Are third-party key managers not supported till 5.7.18 and only the Oracle Key Vault is supported in versions 5.7.12-17?
