I believe this might be a bug in MySQL Administrator 1.0.14, since I can reproduce the error so easily.
As a test to eliminate problems with my PC, I installed MySQL 4.1.7 and MySQL Administrator 1.0.14 on a totally different computer. When I export the database, I still get double-quote characters in the SQL file output. MySQL Administrator chokes on these double-quote characters when trying to import that SQL file.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
