myisamchk and tmd file during repair of table
Hi,
Using MySQL 4.1 on CentOS 4.7.
I have a large table (150G) with a corrupted index MYI file. I get the errno 145 when i try to select the table.
Whenever i try to repair the table using repair table or myisamchk, the TMD file grows too big and fills up the disk.
Is there a way to re-direct the TMD file to another filesystem during the repair? If i had enough room to accommodate the MYD and the TMD in the same FS, i would be ok but that option is not available.
Any info or ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Guy
