Actually, the intend is for developers.
We are a group of developers, intending to share the same database. Each of us having our own local environment, but want to share one central database.
So, my local web app can connect to remote database.
I would assume opening up the port on the firewall that mysql is running, and not sure if there's anything else need to be done?
