Will flushing tables (without read lock) take only a short time and hit the performance

Hi,

I'd like to ask if 'FLUSH NO_WRITE_TO_BINLOG TABLES;' will run slowly on a running system and also hurt the performance. I've already tried it on staging and it returned very quickly. I'd like to know what to expect, and because I'd like to run it in a aws lambda it definitely can't run over 15 minutes. Thanks!

Best,

Stephen
