MYSQL DBA maintenance task daily weekly
Hi All,
Would like to know what are all the MYSQL DBA maintenance task we do daily or weekly?
In MSSQL,
1. Weekly check db database consistence check
2. we do backup of database weekly full and daily differential and hourly transaction log.
3. Weekly Re-index fragmentation removal
4. Daily update stats
Is it all four required in MYSQL as well. I read that Re-index and update stats are not required most of the time.
