I fixed this by using http://linux.cs.lewisu.edu/mysql/Downloads/MyODBC3/MyODBC-3.51.11-1-win.msi

I found it when I was looking for an older version to fix my problem. Didn't have to re-create my System DSN, just uninstalled 3.5.10-2 and installed new version above. This may be beta since 3.51.11 wasn't on the main page available to download.
