It's true that many people might silence this warning (both an advantage and disadantage of warnings is that you can shut them up).

In my case I didn't see this coming (it wasn't in the changelog or release notes, unless I missed it) so it turned what I expected would be a quick version update into an evening of changes. Of course, that is the risk I took for trying BETA software, but that's part of being a member of this community.

At a minimum it should be noted in the release notes somewhere
