First off, Visual Studio Express will never support the Visual Studio Addin. This is because the Express products do not support 3rd party addins.
Second, the current release of the plugin doesn't support dataset designer and the other application development procedures that Visual Studio provide but we (MySQL) are working on making those available in the future.
