MySql .NET Provider Update/InsertCommand

Could someone please give me an example of using the UpdateCommand or InsertCommand? I cant figure it out. At one point i had it running correctly except for the fact that it didnt actually submit the changes when i ran Adaptor.Update(DataTab)...
