Problem when using NET::MySQL.pm for perl---"Client does not support authentication protocol requested by server; consider upgrading MySQL client"

Hi ,

I am running a perl sript on AIX platform, which uses NET::MySQL.pm package to access my Window MySQL server. it gives me error of

"Client does not support authentication protocol requested by server; consider upgrading MySQL client"

My window MySQL server is version 4.1, anyone can help me about this??
( I am beginer of MySQL, is there any other connectors I can use on AIX?? Or I have to "downupgrade" my window SQL server in order to use this perl package to connect to the MySQL server?)
