I am not sure what could be the problem here. I have a test case in my test suite that is identical to this code and it works fine. I just fixed a problem in that all SP calls were generating an 'illegal mix of collations error', but that shouldn't anything to do with your problem. I know that recent builds of 5.0 have a bug where an SP can be saved without a database attached in some cases. This can cause problems in that the driver won't be able to "find" the SP. Perhaps this is what happened?
