Found the problem.

Looks like "mysql-installer-web-community-5.6.12.0" is not compatible with the new "mysql-connector-net-6.7.4".


If you install connector first before web-community then web community fails to install and just disappears.

If you install web-community first and then 6.7.4 connector then it breaks the visual studio implementation.

So for now I'm ONLY installing the web-community and using the 6.6.5 connector included with the web-community 5.6.12 and everything working.

Guess I'll hold off until a new web-community is released which includes the new 6.7.4 connector before trying to upgrade.
