Well, I'm not so much missing but using a different method. The same page contains the store-based method, which is what I was using. I shouldn't have to use a file-based. I definitely have tried file-based, but it didn't work either. I have not been able to find much about the connector and SSL, let alone anyone who has gotten it working.
