Thanks for the quick response.
I'm actually moving host and I've already set up 3.1.12 on the new one (with 5.0.18), although the app isn't installed there yet. Nevertheless I'll try 3.1.12 on the old host before I leave it.
Old host the server is accessed via the network, new host (VPS) it's all on the same (virtual) server.
I'll post here if I resolve through any of these upgrades.
