You are mistaken. I have
never made Windows builds. I do not have a Windows system to build on. All the builds I have had online are community-contributed.
1.2.2c1 works fine with Python-2.5 and the 2.6 development trunk; see
http://www.python.org/dev/buildbot/community/ (we are currently sorting out a build error that is related to missing setuptools on the build box).
