I'll pass this to the person who wrote the query, that could be it!, I just call it!
However as a supplemental question is there a way to determine the Connector/Python version from the python script using that Connector/Python version?
My IDE is pyCharm and the database wrapper is in a separate module. Not always convinced the pyCharm is telling the truth. Would like to be absolutely sure that what I am using is what I think I am using! Couldn't find this functionality from mysql.connector
