automatic entry of a number into a field based on another field in table

I want set up a table that when entering a GCSE or A level grade into one field another field in the same table puts the point score in for that grade: eg a "C" grade scores 5 points a "D" grade scores 4 points etc

Can someone suggest how I do it?
