Re: VIEW DEFINTION permission
The user was already granted that permission.
The scenario I am trying to handle is that I want to give a user read-only permissions to all data and the ability to view the definitions of all stored procedures [and functions]. I have granted them select on *.* however this does not allow them to view procedure definitions.
