Re: Still problem linked table in MS Access: fields are #Deleted

i have to add: there is still one annoying thing... newly created rows still show the same effect, i.e. they change into rows containing "#deleted" in all columns -- until refresh. then, everything is ok.

having thought about this for a second, i tried to create a new row without relying on the auto_increment feature, i.e. with manual entry of the primary key: no "#deleted", the new record is available without refreshing the query.

so this seems to be caused by access not seeing the automatically generated primary key, thus thinking the row is gone... i'm not sure whether this is a bug in the odbc driver or in access.

does anyone know of a workaround? (besides not using auto_increment...)

thanks,
michael
