I think a lot of people finding this post are actually trying to go form SQLite to MySQl. Example, in a Rails project you develop locally with SQLite by default and then your production server is MySQL and you wish to migrate all your local data.
I had to do this when I was starting out at Rails so I wrote a blog post about it. It's actually pretty easy and you don't need to pay for anything:
