Three args against ...

1 Up to version 5.7 at least, MySQL sprocs do not generally improve performance

2 MySQL has no arrays, you'd have to use pseudoarray strings or memory tables

3 There's not a good sproc debugger

To me, it sounds like a nightmare sproc.
