Thanks for the above explanation. I followed the steps that you specified above and provided the GRANT privileges for the root account. However, when I restart my machine and try to key in the command again, I get the below message. Im not able to login again,

Not sure why Im getting this error. I have keyed in the correct password only. But still getting the same error message. Your help on this would be much appreciated.
