OK. Which row do you want to write the total tax to? Every row?
You say the value will change as more items are added to an invoice. Then just calculate the total tax when you retrieve the invoice fields for display. If you store that value, then it must be updated every time there's a change. Leaves it open to being wrong. If you calculate when it's retrieved for display then it will always be right.
