Indeed, it's not the same thing actually... my mistake sorry.
After seeing your example, I found out it's working with utf8_general_ci, but not working with utf8_romanian_ci collation...
I don't know if switching to general is a good idea, I probably won't get the right sort order...
Is any way to keep table date with romanian, but make the search with LIKE using general ? Or something else ?
