I get exactly the same result as you.

And that is the problem.

aa should be treated as an å (for us norwegians).

So if you have these 'words';

aakkar
aarri
alfa
bravo
ærlig
østen
åse
åke
ålborg

then the sorting in Norwegian should be like this:

alfa
bravo
ærlig
østen
åke
aakkar
ålborg
aarri
åse

Ref this thread it looks like there should have been another special collation for danish that treats the aa exactly like an å.
