Re: No MySQL database listed in Source Database dropdown
Edwin, I think the follow-up question here would be: Is there a reason why the MySQL source screen has been in the manual for some time as a possible selection for source but it doesn't actually work in the program? The Manual says that Access, Oracle, and MySQL are valid sources to pick from although only Oracle and Access are selectable. There's even a screenshot in 6.4.3 that shows MySQL being selected; however, I only ever hear of plans for MSSQL to be added as a source?
I've figured out how to copy from MySQL to MySQL now, but still the manual is mis-leading here.
Edit: beaten by Edwin: I would have started a new thread but I did solve my original problem :(.
However this post is on topic -- MySQL is not listed in the dropdown as the topic title says, but the manual says it should be, so now my posting's purpose has become "fix the manual" ;).
