Probably that is a mistake.
There are many variables that lead to whether that might be wise. Please provide SHOW CREATE TABLE. The ENGINE, the PRIMARY KEY, etc., matter. And explain how much is being added each time -- one partition's worth? part of a partition? other?
In my opinion, the Fact table should (usually) have nothing but a PRIMARY KEY, usually an AUTO_INCREMENT. The useful indexes will be on the Summary tables. Most queries will use the summary tables. Only 'point' queries, via the PK, will touch the Fact table.
