Hello,

What I'm doing on a project is similar to what was stated above. My entire database uses InnoDB, however I added a single MyISAM table to store all of the text to be searched with the PK of the referenced item. I implemented this by adding an insert/update statement for the FT as the last query in my transaction. Though untested, this should allow me to rollback my entire transaction if an error occurs inserting into the FT table.
