Re: MySQL Query Browser Composer & Advance Toolbar

For simplicity we have disabled the advanced toolbar in the browser layout.

The functions can be accessed at through the main menu. The query composing cursors can be accessed through [Alt Gr] + S / W / G / H / O / F / S. If you keyboard has not got an [Alt Gr] key you can use [Ctrl]+[Alt] instead.

If you are an advanced user we would like to encourage you to maximize the query area by pressing F11 or selecting the option from the view menu. You will notice that the query area becomes attached to the tabsheet and gives you more space to enter complex queries, as well as a more advanced toolbar.

The reason for this is that most people that started using QB were not using the advanced toolbar at all. It was just confusing them.

We hope that with giving more advanced users to maximize the query area will make both types of users happy.

If you have an other opinion, please share it here.

Thanks,
Mike
