Your stackexchange thread has an answer overnight saying it's a reported WB bug. I find a Get Diagnostics bug report, but it's not quite your issue.

I've never seen a devel ide that does everything well enough to be a one-stop solution, have you? Me, I've no need or wish for an all-in-one GUI tool. Maintenance I do in our own maintenance tool theUsual, for running test/devel scripts sometimes the mysql client program. I write most code (SQL, PHP, C/C++) in NotePad++ (so much so, I run it in a VM when I'm working in Linux). For modelling. I've used WB, ErWin and online modellers, I tend to prefer the latter because they're so lightweight.

In this case, you can use the query editor to write the routines, right?
