Hello Anthony,

As per your report I can see you're referring to the MSI Installer of MySQL for Visual Studio, please note that MySQL Installer is a different product which also allows to install other MySQL products, so probably there is some confusion there. By the way, some of the reported behavior can also be reproduced using MySQL Installer since at the end it also executes the MSI installer of MySQL for Visual Studio.
