I'm asking about manually starting the MySQL server, not the service. To do that ...
1 open a commandline window
2 execute ...
"C:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Server 8.0\bin\mysqld.exe" --defaults-file="%programdata%\mysql\mysql server 8.0\my.ini" --console
... substituting your paths for the paths in that cmd, and post the response here.
