The MySQL for Excel plugin has *never* worked for me, even in 1.1.3. The icon is in the data tab, the box is checked in the COM add-ins, but I click on the button and it just sits there unresponsive, like it is hanging. The rest of the MySQL install has been working fine. I have read many of the previous bug reports & tried to fix it (checked out registry keys, etc...) but gave up.
