Can you give more information about that issue you are having?
What language did you install Office 2010 with?
What character encoding are you using with the data you are inserting in the cell?
Did you get any error message along with the number 1064? If so please specify it here.
Is the error 1064 a MySQL Server error or an Excel error?
Do you see any error messages that you think are related to this issue in the MySQL for Excel log?? (you can find it in "%appdata%\Oracle\MySQL for Excel")
