Is possible to export MySQL query results from Visual Studio into Excel

Hello guys.

Please, do you know if I can use "MySQL for Excel" application to export SQL query results from Visual Studio into Excel ? I can see in Excel that application "MySQL for Excel" enables to export only tables, Views and Procedures. I am very surprised why I can't see this basic option for QUERY RESULTS as well.

I know that there is other option....using export into CSV (using Select .... INTO) but unfortunately I am one of those who face this error >> "The MySQL is running with the -- secure--file-priv option so it cannot execute this statement." So I can't even use this option....

Please, can you let me know what is the easiet way to export QUERY RESULTS from VS to MS excel ? And if I really needs to use SELECT....INTO , how to avoid that error message ?
