Another tidbit of info....
I thought I'd try and update the VSTOR from 10.0.31117 to 10.0.60724, an updated version of Visual Studio 2010 Tools for Office Runtime....but MySQL for Excel has a problem with this and will not load. You get the dreaded COM load failure. I spent a day trying to figure out what went wrong. Finally traced it to the level of VSTO making a difference. the 10.0.31117 works, the 10.0.60724 does not. Users beware.
