Append/Edit Auto Detected Data Type
When Appending data to an existing table mysql for excel auto assigns the data type to the imported columns. For example an excel column formatted as a number with 0.00 in a particular cell is detected as an integer, a float is detected as decimal, empty cells as varchar. The table these are to be imported to is all float type columns. Is there a way to over ride the detected data types in the append wizard or a way to convince it to auto detect floating point?
