I get that; however, presumably at some point, it seems that MySQL would have things all tidied up. Once it has optimized its in-memory and on-disk structures to its satisfaction, it doesn't just move things around for no reason if nothing else is changing in the environment, like an interior decorator trying to decide where the painting on the wall should go.
