Stephen,

Sorry that you are having issues. A few questions to help us understand better the situation.

1) What version of cluster software are you using?
2) Which system is the ndb_mgmd process on?
3) What happens if you restart the mysqld process that has all the memory?
4) Have you tried to move the mysqld process off to another system to see if it still uses up all extra memory?
5) Is all the MySQL software the same version?
6) What O/S and version of O/S are you using? Is the O/S the same for all systems?
