mysqldump uses by default "extended INSERT" queries (multiple rows within the same INSERT command). it seems the max-allowed-packet parameter limits the size of this "extended insert" to what is specified. In my case 128M packet lead to many concurrent operations (many multiple row in one insert) and that would explain why i had to raise the parameter MaxNoOfConcurrentOperations but that didnt helped and just overloaded the datanodes (job buffer).
i will test also with 64M packet size and will report my expierience with that.
thank you for your help so far.
Regards
Denny
