Backup doesn't work for many number of tables?

Hi,

I've been running my Web on bluehost.com and because of the server down, I lost my DB tables and data.

I requested them to restore with backup, but they said that none of the backup files contained any good DB data. They imputed it to my "poor" design. I created 32,000 tables for reasons, and know that it's not common to have such big number of tables.

Here is my question. Can't MySQL dump that many tables? What is the max number of tables for MySQL to dump all the data correctly?

I researched the max number of tables in the forum before I created that many tables. The article said that basically there is no limit to the number of tables. I thouhgt that MySQL can dump even bigger tables and records with no problem. I also believe that the developers or QE are doing stress test.
