Did the server version affect anything or just ODBC?

What version of MySQL are you using with ODBC 3.51.11? I'm tracking down a hunch that this may also be tied to the changes made in the 4.1.x path versus 4.0.x.
I've also been knee deep in MS dev forums discussing this issue, but I've had very little luck so far. It seems ridiculous that it takes so long for Win2k3 server to establish an ODBC connection, especially when Win2k could do it very quickly (hell, even NT could do it quickly).
I'll post back here if I find any more information on this. Thanks for your previous input.
