Hi Bogdan,

I just tried your suggestion on updating our VC++ Redist version to the latest, 14.40.33816.0, restarting my machine, uninstalling any prior MySQL ODBC Connector versions, re-installing Connector 9.1.0, and re-configuring and testing the connection within ODBC Data Source Administrator (64-bit).

After completing all those steps in the order described, I am now able to successfully connect to our MySQL database through Connector 9.1.0. This is all on my local machine running Windows 10.

I have two servers hosted in AWS/ running Windows Server 2019, which will require the same update, I will post an update confirming I can get it working there too, as I was encountering the same issue across any environment I tested this in before trying this proposed fix.
