It should says "MySql for Visual Studio",if it's not there then it shouldn't be anything that prevents you from installing any Connector/net. But if you still have this problem then it might be something in the registry that is "blocking" the other installation. You need to clean the registry or use a tool to do this, since it would be difficult to know exactly what is left in the registry that is blocking the installation. Or if you can restore your machine to a previous state that might help too.
